A post by Ella :)

Me! And a crab we caught!

When mum and dad first told me we were going to travel Australia in our caravan I was so excited and I couldn't wait to leave. When the day finally arrived I was sad to say goodbye to my friends and family and especially my best friend Mia, but also really excited!
Some of my favourite places so far are:

Moonta/SA: because my cousins surprised us by visiting for a few days. We had lots of fun exploring together.
My cousins Shakira and Imogen with Tori and me

Streaky Bay: because Gran and Pops, Shakira, Imogen and Papa all were there. We all had lots of fun playing in the water and sitting around the campfire at night.

Imogen and me around the fire

Lucky Bay/WA: because I liked the really white sand that felt like goo and because there were kangaroos on the beach. The water was really clear and I liked swimming there. I also liked playing with a little girl Charlie who we met in Esperance.

My family at Lucky Bay

Monkey Mia/WA: because I got to hand feed the dolphins.

Warroora/Coral Bay: because the water was warm and I liked seeing the whales swim past everyday. Tori and I also made some new friends, Lily and Mia who we really enjoyed playing with. I liked the snorkelling at Coral Bay also. We saw lots of colourful fish.

Wallareenya Station: because we get to ride horses, feed chickens and play with the other kids on the station who we are friends with. I really like looking after baby Megan and making cakes with Amy. I can't wait to go back there.

I really like travelling in the caravan with my family as we get to see lots of new places all the time. We make lots of new friends all the time also and I like when we have campfire and other campers come to join us. I like when the older people come and join us as they always tell us lots of stories and are really nice.

I love when I go swimming under waterfalls and had the best birthday ever when we had a picnic lunch ontop of a waterfall and then went out for dinner at a special restaurant in Karijini National Park with Lyn and Geoff for my Birthday dinner!

Mum homeschools us which I like better than school because I don't have to do school work all day in a classroom. We sometimes even do my schoolwork on the beach! The thing I don't enjoy about mums schooling is she makes me write in my journal everyday.. I don't like doing this.

Today we are going back to Wallareenya station and I can't wait. We don't really know where we are going after that, as mum and dad usually only decide as we are leaving a place where to head to next.
As much as I miss my friends and family I still get excited everytime we pack up and move to a new place and really love travelling. We have seen so many cool things and I really like all the animals we have seen. When I'm older I'm going to travel Australia with my best friend Mia in a caravan.
I hope you liked reading my blog.
